Youth Leadership Program
This program serves 6th-12th graders. There is no financial cost but will require a commitment of your time. We meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 6pm. We are currently accepting applications for the next cohort that is set to begin on August 18,2024.
We believe that when young people value themselves, and serve others in their community, Real Leaders emerge. This program focuses on five keys of leadership.
- Self-Worth
- Servanthood
- Community Service
- Advocacy
- Discipleship
This program will develop our emerging young leaders using prepared lessons, mentors, community service, motivational speakers, field trips, games, music, and team building activities.
Youth leadership programs are important because not only do they channel youth energy in a positive way, they also empower the next generation of leaders to make impact within their communities. Youth leadership programs provide youth with the skills necessary to guide others, influence opinions and policy, and become role models for their peers and younger generations.
